Dear Tim,
If Aristotle was here he would point out that you are committing the
logical fallacy of evaluating an argument on the basis of the person
of the one making it rather than the argument itself. It seems to me
that Abdu'l-Baha made two kinds of arguments, those based on reason
(aql) and those based on authority (naql.) When it is a matter of
atuhority, the Abdu'l-Baha's position should be taken without
question, but when His argument is based on reason, then I think it
has be evaluated on that basis.
