A plant grows towards the sun.  If it "chooses" of its "free will" to turn away 
from the sun, it is only limiting itself.  In other words, to align one's will 
with the Will of God is freeing, not limiting.

I would say that it is limited because it is exercised by a being that is
subject to limitations.
