The Bayan itself contains a sunset clause:
"the Bayan is the balance decreed by God until the
day of He Whom God shall make manifest. ... The substance of this
chapter is that the Bayan is the balance of
God until the Day of Resurrection, which is the day of He Whom God
shall make manifest." (Unity 2, section 6)
Nevertheless, Baha'u'llah has endorsed some of the laws of the Bayan,
sometimes with alterations. The law of inheritance is an example: it
is endorsed in the Aqdas, but the share of the children is doubled
