Dear Husayn: When I was in Haifa I asked this question of Ali Nakhjavani, then a member of the Universal House of Justice. He said that for the time being the nine Baha'i Holy Days are observed according to the solar calendar worldwide, although those events occuring prior to the Declaration of Baha'u'llah in 1863, are observed according to the lunar calendar at the World Center. He explained that this will be detemined in the future as to the rest of the world. He did say, however, that it is possible that those Holy Days prior to the Declaration of Baha'u'llah in 1863 would be celebrated worldwide according to the lunar calendar if the House of Justice so decides. Those would be the Declaration of the Bab, the Birth of the Bab, the Birth of Baha'u'llah and the Martrydom of the Bab. This information is not official; just Mr. Nakhjavani's explanation to me.
