Hi all,
Forgive me if the answer here is obvious or asked a lot but the Internet
searches I've done have not turned up anything helpful yet. Are there copies
of the Guardians works such as The World Order of Baha'u'llah with footnotes
that give historical context or the exact document references which are made in
numerous pages? For instance the very first letter in WOB discusses someone's
misunderstanding of the intentions of Abdu'l Baha, and makes references to
pilgrims notes used to improperly defend that position. But there are no
details provided that allow a reader such as I to know what exactly the issue
is he is talking about.
Having read some other histories of the faith I have an inkling he is referring
to Ruth White but it could very well be someone else even in Persia for all I
can tell. It would be helpful to have an edition of these important works of
the Guardian with fully documented sources that he refers to. This will only
become more important as we progress farther from those times and primary
sources of information are no longer living.
