Dear David,
Bahai Trivial Persuits already exists, and when it came out it was
popular. I've played it at several gatherings. Is there any market
for the format of a quiz book? Isn't the learning and the community-
building more effective through a quiz game?
Suggestion: have a quiz-based game distributed on CD, involving "spin
the laptop," : the questions would be read aloud in a choice of
languages by the laptop, the answers inputted via the keyboard. then
add a wireless connection, and two communities in different places
could play as teams against one another
How about a "world citizens" portion in the feast or holy day
programme, or after the Mashriq meeting: you log onto a site before
the event starts, and half an hour later you are randomly connected
to another Bahai community through a VOIP connection, with webcam if
possible, so that the two communities can exchange greetings and say
something about themselves, followed by various options, such as play
a quiz game between communities, learn basic esperanto (handy if you
find yourself connected to Taiwan or deepest darkest Paris), find a
"pen" partner and swap email addresses ....
The beloved of God must, like the roses of the rose-garden, send
fragrant messages from one to another, receive strength from one
another, and co-operate together, by the strength of the Kingdom.
There is no greater means than communion and communication.
"Communication is half a meeting."

the beloved of God, in every city, send collectively letters to
other cities, especially America. This shall be the means of growth
and the cause of attraction. The souls will be made happy, the
spirits revived, the hearts dilated and the breasts expanded.
