Interesting that Baha'u'llah, born in Teheran, does not come from the Holy Land.

Literally, the Holy Land. . . .
Figuratively, who knows?
___________________________________________
This Holy Land hath been mentioned and extolled in all the sacred Scriptures.
In it have appeared the Prophets of God and His chosen Ones. This is the
wilderness in which all the Messengers of God have wandered, from which their
cry, "Here am I, here am I, O my God" was raised. This is the promised Land in
which He Who is the Revelation of God was destined to be made manifest. This is
the Vale of God's unsearchable decree, the snow-white Spot, the Land of
unfading splendor. Whatever hath come to pass in this Day hath been foretold in
the Scriptures of old. These same Scriptures, however, unanimously 345
condemn the people that inhabit this land.
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 344)
Give ear, O King, unto the Voice that calleth from the Fire which burneth in
this verdant Tree, on this Sinai which hath been raised above the hallowed and
snow-white Spot, beyond the Everlasting City; "Verily, there is none other God
but Me, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful!"
(Baha'u'llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 68)
Within the confines of this holy and enviable country, "the nest of all the
Prophets of God," "the Vale of God's unsearchable Decree, the snow-white Spot,
the Land of unfading splendor" was the Exile of Baghdad, of Constantinople and
Adrianople condemned to spend no less than a third of the allotted span of His
life, and over half of the total period of His Mission. "It is difficult,"
declares 'Abdu'l-Bahá, "to understand how Bahá'u'lláh could have been obliged
to leave Persia, and to pitch His tent in this Holy Land, but for the
persecution of His enemies, His banishment and exile."
(Shoghi Effendi, God Passes By, p. 183)
The conjunction of these three resting-places, under the shadow of the Báb's
own Tomb, embosomed in the heart of Carmel, facing the snow-white city across
the bay of 'Akká, the Qiblih of the Bahá'í world, set in a garden of exquisite
beauty, reinforces, if we would correctly estimate its significance, the
spiritual potencies of a spot, designated by Bahá'u'lláh Himself the seat of
God's throne.
(Shoghi Effendi, God Passes By, p. 348)

Any ideas as to the symbolic meaning of "sacred snow-white spot" from "The
Tablet of the Holy Mariner" ?
Please see below:
Perchance they may not tarry in the sacred snow-white spot,
Glorified be my Lord, the All-Glorious!
(Compilations, Baha'i Prayers, p. 221)
