The stories in the Surah of Hud can teach us progressive revelation, the reasons for denial, the inner and the outer forms of the Revelation, but the Surah is not all stories. It begins with monotheism and turning to God for forgiveness, and gives the promise and the threat. The threat especially for those who are stumbling- blocks in the path of God and seek something crooked in it... (19).
