The Baha'i Studies Listserv Wow! The things I have yet to learn about my national Baha'i community! Thanks so much for these links. I was also wondering, does anyone know of any other instances where 'Abdu'l-Baha refers to the 'affinity of souls'. It seems that Rosemary is referring to an ongoing discussion. My first thought was that it sounded much like the notion of 'soul mate.' However, I seem to remember, I think in Lights of Guidance, 'Abdu'l-Baha (or was it Shoghi Effendi?), saying that there was no such thing as soul mates. What is 'soul affinity' ?
Also, I guess we would have to classify this as a pilgrim's note, unless there is another authoritative source where 'Abdu'l-Baha is quoted directly?
