The Baha'i Studies Listserv Hi, Have you look at BBC "Super Smart Animals"? Maybe 'Abdu'l-Bahá is talking in a general way.
Part 1: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtlgjw_super-smart-animals-2012_animals#.UMOaf4PxboI (stupid youtube and BBC don't allow part 1 on youtube) Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUCdWyLNNXU Cheers, Hasan ________________________________ De: David Regal <david.re...@yahoo.com> Para: Baha'i Studies <bahai-st@list.jccc.edu> Enviado: Sábado, 8 de diciembre, 2012 7:09 A.M. Asunto: Animal nature The Baha'i Studies Listserv What I've seen of 'Abdul-Baha's comments on animal nature appears to agree with the common view that animals act according to nature and act selfishly. I have been seeing more and more evidence of animals often acting selflessly, like risking their life saving an owner from a fire. A recent article of relevance is here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/a-new-model-of-empathy-the-rat/2011/12/08/gIQAAx0jfO_story.html Does evidence like this oppose what 'Abdul-Baha is saying or have I misconstrued it?
