But of course when I study even more the text of the Holy Qur'an,
Baha'u'llah's Supreme utterance in the Summons Book and the Tablets
of the Master I see there is a certain inevitability to this malady
that can afflict any human heart ie denial after knowledge and God
forbid it should afflict us my poor lowly ignorant self included...

Dearest Khazeh,

Your discussion of "denial after knowledge" reminds me of the sobering
prophecy of Daniel regarding the time of Baha'u'llah, that some who awake to
knowledge of the new Day will reach a shameful end. The prophecy warns yet
also encourages.

12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of
trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:
and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be
found written in the book.

12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some
to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

        (King James Bible, Daniel)
