As Dr. Bushrui mentions in his book on the language of the Aqdas,
Baha'u'llah uses a wide range of literary devices in His Writings. I
would like to know the name of one of them.

In a Tablet He addresses to Muhammad Baqir, one of the Letters of the
Living, (Gleanings CXXV, pp. 291 ff. U.S. editions) Baha'u'llah states
that the Bab is pleased with him for recognizing Him. He then recites,
over the course of two pages (pp. 292-294), what He says that the Bab is
saying to Muhammad Baqir from the immortal realm.

I have also seen this literary device used in poetry -- what is it called?

Thanks
Brent
