It is my understanding based on reading Dr. Ruhe's book "A Door of Hope"
that the Master and His family vacated the House of Abbud / Udi Khammar,
and moved up the street into the House of Abdullah Pasha, a year before
Shoghi Effendi was born -- 1896. I thought that at that point, the House
of Abbud fell out of Baha'i hands for decades.

Then, in 1909 after the Young Turk Revolution changed the Turkish
government, the Master moved His family into His house in Haifa, and He
moved there Himself in 1910.

However, in reading the Tablets of the Divine Plan, I see that several of
those Tablets were revealed in 1917 in the House of Abbud. This would have
been during the First World War. Does anyone know what the circumstances
of the Master entering there, and the ownership or use rights of that
House in `Akka might have been?
Thankyou
Brent
