I'm just wondering if it would be permissible for a non-Baha'i (15 years or over) to be buried with one of our burial rings, if they requested it (prior to death). Would it be disallowed for all non-Baha'is, and I mean those not pronounced Covenant-breakers, or would it simply be conditional on whether the person was buried in accordance with everything mentioned in the Baha'i law of burial? In the future when most people are Baha'is it could happen that a non-Baha'i dies and there are no non-Baha'is around to bury them, and so Baha'is have to do it. Would they be expected to consider that person's religion, or just follow everything contained in Baha'i burial law, including the ring, even if the person isn't a Baha'i? I assume how good a person they are has no relevance, as the following:

"I came forth from God, and return unto Him, detached from all save Him, holding fast to His Name, the Merciful, the Compassionate"
(Baha'u'llah: Aqdas: Notes, Page: 229)

is written the rings of good and lousy Baha'is. Some were not detached from all save God.

David
