Dear Richard Gravelly
Your question is indeed a most wonderful question.
And thank you.
Some of the Prayers are from the Iraq period.
such as

****I yield Thee such thanks as can enable all who are in heaven and on
earth to dispense with all created things, through the treasuries of Thine
all-sufficing riches, and can aid all created things to reach unto the
summit of Thine almighty favours. I yield Thee such thanks as can assist
the hearts of Thine ardent lovers to soar into the atmosphere of nearness to
Thee, and of longing for Thee, and kindle the Light of Lights within the
land of Iraq.
(Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, Page: 331)
****
Some are from the 'Akka period

***O Thou Who art the Ruler of earth and heaven and the Author of all names!
Thou hearest the voice of my lamentation which from the fortress-town of
Akka ascendeth towards Thee, and beholdest how my captive friends have
fallen into the hands of the workers of iniquity
(Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, Pages: 17-18)
***
And finally, I was cast by the transgressors into the prison-city of Akka,
and my kindred were made captives in Baghdad.
(Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, Page: 105)

Praise be unto Thee, O my God! Thou seest how He Who is Thy Light hath been
shut up in the fortress-town of Akka, and been sore oppressed by reason of
what the hands of the wicked doers have wrought, whose corrupt desires have
kept them back from turning towards Thee, O Thou Who art the King of all
names!
(Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, Page: 218)

So it covers the whole period of Revelation from the One Who is the Source
and Centre of Revelation.

****The Revelation, of which Baha'u'llah is the source and center,
(Shoghi Effendi: World Order of Baha'u'llah, Page: 57)
***
I was so moved by this Prayer
Lauded be Thy name, O Thou Who art my God and throbbest within my heart!
(Baha'u'llah: Prayers and Meditations, Page: 61)

The best definition of God methinks...

your servant in this Mighty Cause
