I'm afraid I haven't read The Da Vinci Code but ...this is not the kind of book I read these days. It is a while since I read anything on Alchemy, the Tarot and the other esoteric sciences, or Gnosticism. I do though find the notion of some kind of balance between masculine and feminine very attractive and suspect this kind of stuff allows it to penetrate the psyche at a level that might be just what I need.Well, I'm not a big student of the occult or anything. And The Da Vinci Code is fiction, a mystery/thriller, and a heck of a good read. Based on websites that I've visited, the Catholic Church seems to be having a hissy fit about it. But as I was reading, I kept thinking that the philosophical framework of the Grail legends is so very compatible with our Faith. The Bible as history is questionable at best. I don't know if there are living descendants of Jesus or not, and I'm not particularly interested in finding out. I do feel that the sacredness of the feminine principle is worth considering in a Baha'i light.Thank you for your input.Dave Lambert
