I think a reason that some of the most praiseworthy Baha'is do not want praise is because the praise is directed toward them, rather than toward the power of God which they allow to be manifested in them.<>
How do they know the praise is directed toward them? Just because someone praises you doesn't mean they are ignorant of where the power came from.
