Hi All, If it wasnt for Praveen I probably wouldnt have got this oldie which I had to get down from Mumbai to Pune, Thanks a Ton Dude :))
Some info on the bike: 2003 March Classic 150 KS model, The bike has approx run 70-80k but the odo shows 42xxx. The bike basically maintaince related service which included major replacements. Some of the thing that I remeber being changed\put new are: - Clutch plates - right Rear set(silver rear foot peg holder assembly ) - Right side front foot peg - New piston rings + some work on head & valves - New timing chain - All new rubber bushings every where - All oils changed - Front & rear Dunlop tires A few more stuff which I cant remember, it costed me 7k for all this. A few more items which need change\modofication are: -New CDI - New Tacho(its gone kaput) - Seat needs more cusioning since original cusion is almost gone & has cuts all over. So right now have just a cover on it - New battery, current battery is kinda new but the the joint is beyond repair & hence cant be charged - Chain Sprocket set is in its last stages. Did get all these things done as I was way above my budget so decided to get these done ata later stage since being monsoons my rides would be relatively less. A big Thanks to Arpan for helping me out in restoring this bike. Thanks a lot Dude :)) The bike feels good but like Praveen said am still getting used to its handling as my previous bikes handles miles better :p I will post more details of my experience with this oldie as & when I ride her.
