Hi Rajeev, Never heard of anyone who's battery (Pulsar and Karizma) has lasted any more than 3.5 yrs. Mine lasted a little over 3 yrs. I now have a Pulsar Spec 9 Amp battery installed (which replaced the stick 7amp) - and its doing a fine job
