hi, i am 1 of the owners of first batch p-180 of dec-2001.i ve ridden all dtsi models including 200cc these bikes do not match sheer drivability & punch of the original package.it has no knocking n i ride it in 5th once i get 30km/hr. even overtaking in 5th is effortless.it had problem of gearbox n rear suspension which has been rectified in dtsi versions by bajaj. i think emission control norms kill the thrill. do u agree with my view? if not please ride an original p-180 & see the difference. hope bajaj brings back the original feel to new bikes including 18" wheels for that dual purpose / off road use.
