Dear Mazumdar,

This group entertains ALL bike related questions and even cars to an
extent. If off-topic messages HAVE to be posted, they are marked OT in
the subject line.

Getting to the main part, there have been many people who havent been
quite happy with service centers like Bajaj, Kinetic and even Hero
Honda to an extent.

In my opinion, the best solution would be to go on with the free
servicing at the best authorized service center you know (to retain
warranty) and then immediately ride to a local guy you trust more and
get the remainder of the work done as per your preference.

In mumbai many ppl get their bikes to Reddy who's a master in bikes
(especially bajaj). You'll have to look for a genius in banglore who
caters to all bikes. As far as i know, theres Venkat there, but he has
an authorized service center for Bajaj only, so I have my doubts if
he'd touch your bike. But he's always free to give any sort of advice
and has solutions to almost everything.

Do let us know as to whats wrong with that bike and perhaps one of us
can help you out :)

Cheerzz,
Eric
