Hi All, Glen, Revel (pillion on Glen's ZMA) and me made a short round trip this Saturday (night) and Sunday. Though this was never the plan, though the ride wasnt planned at all- we decided at the last moment.
Our Route and distance: Mumbai-Pune-Satara-Karad-Kolhapur-Panhala-Bambavda- Malkapur-AmbaGhat-Haathkhamba (Ratnagiri)-Nivali-Jaigad-Chiplun-Khed-Mahad-Mumbai: 996 kms The GPS track- the phone ran out of charge before Kolhapur. Phone was in my jacket getting charged through the ciggy adaptor, but the charger pin came out without me realising. Took me 1 hour to find the way to it- unfortunately nobody there knew about it. But in the end it was paisa vasool. That was the end of all the sight seeing and I head back home halts at Chiplun and Wakan. Traffic on NH17 was horrible and so were the roads after Wadkhal...surprisingly I felt tired after this ride.
