Hi,

Sorry couldn't squeeze time for this simple DIY job. Took the bike to
my hometown. Bat was down again the next morn. Took it to a bat shop,
he checked the terminal voltage which was 13v & told me that the bat
is dead. Went to Exide bat shop. They checked the bat & said that the
water level was low & they topped it. But the sad part is that the bat
doesn't hold the charge. I'm planning to trickle charge tmw & check if
it holds the charge. Else change of bat shd be the solution. Exide
comes with 2 varieties of batteries, 1 yr warranty Rs.1400 & 3 yrs
warranty Rs. 1600. If the new one is expected to serve just 2.5yrs as
old one I think 3 yrs bat will be best option eventhough after 18
months the replacement will be done with pro-rata basis.

Thanks & regards,
