Following are the stats of the ride. 25.12.2008 Left Home: 01.30 am Pee stop before Karad: 05.00 am (Trip 265 kms) Pee Stop again after Kolhapur: 07.00 am (didnt see the reading) Halt at Belgaum: 08.25 am (Trip 510 kms) Food stop at Bankapur: 10.20 am (no reading) ATM hunting merry go round at Chitradurg: 14.00 hrs (no reading) Refuelling stop at Bangalore and exiting towards Hosur: 17.10 hrs (1043 kms) Reached Hossur: 19.10 hrs (no reading) Reached Salem at 21.15 hrs (trip read 1297 kms) Distance covered: 1297 kms Dinner and rest at Salem 26.12.2008 Left Salem towards Kodai: 06.30 am Reached Kodaikanal: 14.00 hrs (Trip read 1583 kms) 27.12.2008 Left Kodai: 06.30 a.m. Halt at Palani for breakfast, plus visit to Sri Muruggan Temple premises. Reached Calicut (lunch): 15.00 hrs (no trip read) Reached Mangalore (dinner): 21.15 hours (no trip read) Riding along taking ample tea and casual halts- was feeling dead sleepy) Short nap at a Dhaba near Gokarna: 05.00 am (no read) Had tea and slept for an hour Started off from the Dhaba: 07.00 a.m. Touched Gokarna Beach: 07.25 a.m (no read) Touched Hubli: 11.50 a.m Touched Belgaum: 13.10 hrs (covered 94 kms) Touched Kolhapur: 14.30 hrs (no read)- but I guess it was more than a 100 kms. Touched Pune: 17.15 hrs (no read) Reached home: 21.15 hrs Distance covered: 1654 kms Total distance covered: 3237 kms Timings are referred from the SMS updates I used to send to Sanket.
