Dear All,
Buying Pulsar 220 DTSFi was a very exciting thing for me. But then after buying
the problem of parking came. The office parking is so bad that it becomes head
ache for me many times to even park my scooter. Because of parking problems
every where I have restricted my pulsar 220 ride to few selective places only
and because of this I have completed only 2900 KMS in 1.5 years. As result of
this, dust gethered in fuel pump and I had to replace it urgently because a
very IRRITATING voice was coming from the engine & the bike was also not giving
pickup also.
Then a mechanic at the service station told me that if I would keep my bike in
idle position like this it will be very expensive for me. He told me that I
have to ride it atleast 1 KMS every day if I am not using it regularly and
after that the problem has solved.
The same problem occured with Dhoni when his Harley Davidson came to a off when
his harley got its engine JAMED after starting after many days........
So its my advice to you all people that not to repeat my mistakes.
