I never spoke about KTMs- it was with reference to the Ninja.

Yes Deepak, they would. May be even more. I'll give you an example.
Just to change the Seating from Mono (Cup Edition) to Double seat
costs around AED 4200/- Upon finding out the reason, I realized that
it is an entire kit that includes a bit of the chassis as well as
rear footpegs in order to ensure a straight fit. But that is still
costly. At todays conversion rate, one can almost get a Pulsar 150
for the price.

Another reason it is costly is that KTM uses the best of stuff on
their bikes right from Brembo Brakes for the front as well as rear,
Marchesini Wheels and more.

I read somewhere that its speedo is so accurate that if you expect it
to have a 10% error like some other bikes, be prepared to see red-
blue lights flashing up your rear view mirror :-D

Also the LC8 engines are not Inline twins, they're V-Twin. I dont
know whats the difference. Any techies able to point out the
advantages?

I'll put down my views on two of KTM's bikes in a seperate post.

Regards,
Eric
