Hi, My friend Nandakumar purchased a Pulsar-150 today through military canteen tied up with Khivraj Motors, Chennai. We were surprised with the quote given by the Dealer as Rs.7008 towards additional charges in addition to the vehicle price given as DD by the military canteen. The break-up was Rs.500 towards Registration charges, Rs.1450 towards Insurance charges, Rs.4,418 towards Road Tax and Rs 620 towards accessories. The accessories were Saree-guard, Bumper, Mirrors, Side-stand. The sales manager was kind enough to say we can have the deal only if we pay this amount blindly. Even telling them that we will escalate this to BAL he took it as a challenge. In addition to it Rs 400 as temp registration charges was collected from him even though he is a resident of Chennai. Again no proof has been given to him for temp registration. When accessories listed above come as standard part from BAL as enquired from other dealers why Khivraj is acting so bad. How this can be made into notice to the higher officials of BAL. No extra fittings have been purchased/installed
