After almost a month of the heat shield lying in my bag, finally got
the broken bolt removed. Didn't know it was so simple- most of the
people I requested thought it to be some NASA project. My Thane
mechanic routed me to a welder who gas welded a metal wire to the
bolt, and welded a metal-T to the broken bolt and pulled it out like
hair out of butter. 5 mins job and charged 10 bucks.

Regards,
Deepak
