Following are things which you shoulf keep in mind.
1.) If you ride maxium in city and are working guy, start early by 30 mins
before rush hours.If you do this you can ride the bike freely without much gear
changes and braking in turn increasing your fuel economy.
2.)Donot downshift gear fastly.Downshift slowly.If you downshift the gear very
fast then it will effect gear box worstly.Change the gear as speed decreases.
3.)Fill good quality of Fuel & and maintain air pressure as per the manual.
4.)Service your bike as per manual.
5.)Wash the bike atleast every week.Before washing bike dust it with dry
cloth.For better colour life teflon coat it every six months.And if you want
shine apply good quality polish after every wash.Buy a tarpolin tpye cover or
any other cover.Cover the bike when you are at home.But cover it only after
30-45 min from ride to allow engine to cool.Covering the bike will protect the
bike from dust very efficently and will stop jealous people from making designs
on the bike.You know what I mean.
6.)Always park your bike on double stand.This will protect your bike from
scrtches and will also protect your signal lights.
7.) To get good fuel effiency ride the bike between 55-60 KMPH and select the
gear as per manual.
8.)If you have to ride in "stop-go" traffic be sure to ride carefully bcoz if
you will accelarate hard and then has to brake suddenly you can get hit by
behind.
9.)To avoid accidents please keep review mirriors.Ya I know they dont work much
but then sometime it helps.
And ya wear a helmet.
