Hi Friends,
I am planning for a week's ride through Karnataka, possibly touching
Kerala/Goa. Spent my life mostly in Chennai and I havent travelled thru KA/Goa
before, so requesting your expert opinion on this.
Day 1: Chennai - Bangy
Day 2: Bang to Mangalore (how good is the direct road thru hassan?)
Day 3: Ride to Northern Kerala and back to Mangalore for the night
Day 4: Ride to Udipi and stay at Shimoga (best place to stay for the night
-shimoga ? Also, hotel name and number if possible)
Day 5: Ride to Gokarna
Day 6: Ride to Goa and return to Gokarna
Day 7 and 8: Ride the Highways to Chennai
PLease feel free to make suggestions or do a sanity check. I will be riding
alone on a ZMA, have done 1-2day trips (500+km/day) and planning to keep this
trip a relaxed one.
**news** by the way, the price (quoted in the press) for the Ninja 250 is
unrealistic ;) probably, a typo/misread of some sign language. Rs2.5 lakhs is
more like it. Come on...I dont want to be forced to buy another bike (goddam
it- we are in recession)...
