Hi, thx for the reply. you can feel it kinda slippery on wet road during long turn at 40 - 60 degrees corners which, with the majority 'psycho' attitude of most drivers and riders in my city, could prove to be a bit accident prompt if you're not extra careful. i'm in jakarta, indonesia. so it's rainy there as well in india iguess. never would have thought. my friend suggested bridgestones but it costs about 600 usd for rear tire alone so i'm gonna have to think it through :) especially the current tires are just too nice to be wasted. btw it's honda tiger, the 2007 series kinda look like pulsar 200 but many people think the 2009 series is hedious (and i can't say that i disagree :) )

The "slipperiness" can be controlled during braking/accleration by being gradual with both! :) Not sure where you're riding, but less rain in India?? No way! :) Btw what's the Honda bike you're referring to? -- cheers, Prasanna -- Pix: http://www.flickr. com/flyinfiddles ticks Tweets: http://twitter. com/flyfiddlesti cks/ ____________ _________ _________ __ From: Dmitri Tobias Lessy <dmitri_lessy@ yahoo.com> To: bajajpulsar@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Wed, 10 February, 2010 5:47:15 PM Subject: [bajajpulsar] Tires Hi all, I'm current ridin' a pulsar 200 and I notice something, the tires are a bit slippery after or during rain (and yes, I do ride in the rain rather than wait for it to stop lol). My friend, a pulsar 180 rider said perhaps it's because in india there isn't that many rain and the road is mostly dry. Coz the tires are pretty awesome on normal road or dry offroad. I was just wondering if it were true. Thx y'all and enjoy the ride. Ps. Here we get a lot of negative vibe from honda tiger riders (or is it just me, hehe) coz they were the most popular and ultimately means cooler bikes in 2007 or so but not anymore since pulsar came (both 180 and 200) coz pulsar got way more kick ass body compared the tiger 2009 :) india 1, japan 0 as far as I know hehe Jsyk Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone from Sinyal Bagus XL, Nyambung Teruuusss... ! ------------ --------- --------- ------ __The Bajaj Pulsar User Group__ www.bajajpulsar. org Yahoo!
