Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Really appreciate it :) The HT coil wasn't a problem- though I replaced it to check and fitted back the stock coil. As Zahin said- there was a loss in compression due to the valves not shutting off completely. The kick-lever hardly needed any effort to move. On Dr. Arnob's suggestion got the carb opened up and got it cleaned....the jets were clogged with particles. So a combination of both was causing the problem.
So as of now the issue is solved- bike is actually running smoother than earlier. Feels like a ZMA now- for some days I felt like I was riding my Pulsar. The labour cost came to 180 bucks. Thanks again everyone! Regards, Deepak
