Dear Netters, I would like to share the first 18 shots of Siem Reap, Cambodia..a city that makes me..human again. You may find them at:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tjatur/ Siem Reap, Cambodia which I visited last week (May 22nd-23rd) was by far the only city I travelled around Asia that made me almost shed tears when leaving it. The people are so warm despite of their very humble economic condition. More importantly..I felt so close..seemed like I was in Java.. and even my tuk tuk driver name was..Satya. I pray that I'm given a chance to visit this city again..and I will give back. I may not be able to do such magnificent work here..but at least I would share: $ 1 extra for the little lady selling fabric $ 1 for the lady selling bottled water $ 1 for the street musician..the victim of land mines, who have only one arm $ 1 extra for the tuk tuk driver $ 1 extra for the hotel workers $ 1 extra for that little old lady lives at the temple $ 1 for the cello performance for the kids hospital Ohhhh there are so much more we can do for Siem Reap. Would you like to do so ? J'adore Cambodia. /tjatur
