Operator taksi juga dirugikan. Jumlahnya fantastis. Operator Taksi Blue Bird mengaku sudah 1.200 unit taksi Limonya mengalami masalah pada fuel pump. "Taksi yang fuel pumpnya rusak banyak, mas. Mogoknya taksi itu dikhawatirkan mengganggu citra Blue Bird di mata masyarakat. "Itu berdampak pada pelayanan kalau sampai mogok, takutnya mengecewakan pelanggan, yang kedua kalau pengemudi tidak beroperasi mereka tidak mendapatkan pendapatan yang maksimal itu menjadi concern kita," ujarnya. Bukan hanya mobil lama yang fuel pumpnya jebol, mobil Limo keluaran terbaru pun masalahnya sama. "Kita kan tiap bulan ada sekitar 250 armada baru," ujarnya. Blue Bird tidak sendiri, operator taksi yang lain juga merasakan hal yang sama. Armada taksi milik operator Indah Family taksi yakni PT Sumatra Raya juga sering rusak fuel pumpnya. Menutur Manajer Teknik PT Sumatra Raya Sudiarman Manalu kasus ini mulai terjadi sejak bulan Juli, berbarengan dengan yang dialami oleh para pengguna mobil pribadi lainnya. Bahkan menurutnya mobil taksi Lova yang gres pun terkena dampak fuel pump jebol. "Dari 600 unit armada kita hampir 120-an unit yang terkena. Solusinya memang kita pasang fuel pump Bosch. Dalam jangka 10 hari ini belum ada masalah," ujarnya.
