sama aja om awetnya, tetep aja kompresor pada akhirnya nyala yang bikin gak awet itu klo kompresor nyala saat putaran mesin tinggi so usahakan AC nyala pada saat rpm masih rendah atau klo lagi pakai AC usahakan rpm jangan lebih dari 3000 rpm, kasian kompresornya saat lagi auto on

Percaya atau tidak itulah faktanya, semakin dingin ac maka konsumsi bbm makin irit. Kenapa..? Dalam kondisi stelan ac full/dingin, kinerja kompresor ac akan semakin lama, keadaan ini akan membuat suhu kabin dan evaporator dinginnya cukup lama juga. Sehingga ketika kinerja kompresor diputus oleh thermostat untuk hidup lagi mempunyai waktu yg cukup lama. Dengan begitu kinerja kompresor tidak terlalu sering hidup matinya. Kalau suha ac di psang di penyetelam setengah atau seperempat maka peningkatan suhu dikabin dan evaporator menjadi lebih cepat. Kompresor menjadi lebih sering on/off atau bekerja lebih cepat. Kenapa jadi boros..? karena disaat kompresor hidup, suplai bbm keruang bakar akan ditambah secara otomatis, naik dalam keadaan idle maupun mobil berjalan, hal ini bertujuan agar tenaga yg diperoleh mesin cukup.
