dah ketemu fiuh... akhirnya mo maen unreal tournamen 2003 yg jadi bonus di cd
Info Linux sekalian mo ngejajal kehebatan linux dalam urusan game, kebentur
ama performansi yg gak memuaskan gara-gara kernelnya masih 2.4.x n mo ganti
ke 2.6.10 bawaannya di cd 2. tapi pas install semua-muanya, trus mkinitrd,
updating grub, reboot eh malah kernel panic, pesannya kurang lebih:
"VFS: unable to mount root partition on /dev/sda6 or unknown block !?"
emang pas ngistal pertama, aku pilih pake kernel bare.i tapi hd nya aq gak
dikenali fdisk, atas saran pak belog aq boot install pake kernel sata.i [ hd
sata samsung 80 gb ] n lancar trus, nah apa aq harus kompile kernel 2.6.10
dari source? trus settingan kernelnya gimana? apa sama dgn setting kernel
sata.i versi 2.4.x itu?
mohon pencerahan dari temen-temen
