Short version: GMime packages prior to 2.4.14 compiled with gcc version 4.4 misparse addresses like this. Fix: wait for 2.4.14+ to land in the repos, or build from a tarball at <URL:http://download.gnome.org/sources/gmime>. Best, Peter
