Dear List, Gtk has for some years discouraged the use of both text and an icon in the same button, going so far as to deprecate a function that creates such a button. Balsa continues to use them anyway, for instance in the spell-checker, but looks increasingly out of date. Compare, for instance, with Gedit's spell checker (screen shots attached).
I'd like to get rid of them--opinions? Peter
