Hi all,

just a dumb question - the balsa Gtk3 branch still has a `--enable-threads´
configure option as to enable multi-threading support.

Since glib has a full (p)thread abstraction (at least for the minimum required
version 2.32), what is the reason for (a) still using /some/ pthread functions
and (b) for offering the option to build without threads at all?

IMHO, it should be safe to enable threads, using the glib functions, and to
remove the conditional stuff...

Cheers,
Albrecht.
