meanwhile GenToo has webkit-gtk-2.20.3. With my patched configure.ac to
skip the check for <= enchant-1.6.0
and a modified ebuild on GenToo to use gtkspell instead of gspell,
the current GIT 2018/07/24 7:35 GMT builds fine and is currently
running.
The previous version crashed from time to time (not reproducably).
I hope the new version is more stable.
