Brigadier-General Comte de Mylcandonai,
I would like to ask you to apologize the enthuasiam of my youth. Some months
ago I came from the Front and stated that the ALC was far more braver than
the Dragoon Guards. Furthermore I stated that the ALC would only know the DG
showing their backs to the enemy. As the DG does not differ in matters of
bravery from the ALC, I would like to excuse the made statements. As I
mentioned earlier: When I ever called the members of your regiment "coward",
this is not the truth. The truth is, that, at my young age, the Front has
had a great impact on me and the fact that not only my own regiment, but
myself was mentioned for bravery has maybe blurred my view on the great
successes of the other regiments.
