Conversation overheard at the field hospital (-

Cpt Jean Baptiste Doutron, ALC: How are you feeling sir?

LtC Chev. Jean d'Emsay, ALC: Not too good, the wound is festering.  But I am confident it will get better soon.

JBD: I am sorry to hear that sir.

JdE: What! What are you blithering about.

JBD: Well sir, it appears that you must shoulder the blame for allowing the EdT doppleganger to wander around the barracks undetected as it was your security arrangements, or rather lack of them, that allowed it to happen.

JdE: Are you threatening me?

JBD: No sir, quite the contrary.  I simply wish to give you some friendly advise.  You should take the opportunity to retire due to the wound, the alternative may lead to embarassment  for both you and the regiment, which I am sure you would wish to avoid.

JdE: But.. But..

JBD: I can asure you, no one will know the true reason for your departure, except of course the general.

JdE: But..

JBD: I have already taken the initiative and encouraged Dr Non to make it known that you need to return to Paris to recover.

JdE: Well that explains that message I just recieved from EdT.

JBD: May I ask if you agree with my synopsis.

JdE: Let me think on it.

[OOC: JBD also asks npc_JdE to resign]
