To: The Colonels of the Dragoon Guards and The Queen's Own Carabiniers From: Brigadier General le Baron Christophe-Armand Tournage Gentlemen, I am taking the Brigade to the front in October. I am of the belief that our sojourn in the city has begun to corrupt some of the men and the sooner they are doing what they are supposed to be doing instead of filling my office with piles of paper, the better. I also feel that Grosscanard needs to be reinstated into the brigade structure, rather than let loose upon the Frontier Brigade. Who knows what new unsavoury habits he will be picking up on his own. It does look hopeful that he has learnt something about being a real soldier in that he has progressed from being a skulker of toilets to a collector of logs. If either of you have pressing matters, which will keep you in Paris, please let me know. In week 4, I will host a series of training days and a ball. I am open to suggestions as to topics to cover and I have already decided to issue a series of guidelines regarding mail and how to reduce it. Yours Christophe-Armand
