Chevalier le Blanc
In response to your letter to this office indicating your interest in the
post of Minister without Portfolio: I have examined the records on behalf
of Minister Senior, and there appears to be a little confusion. According
to what I found, you have been dubbed a Chevalier by le Roi, and you have
earned the rank of Major in the Queen's Own Carabiniers. Unfortunately, the
post of Minister without Portfolio requires successful applicants to be
either a Brigadier General or a Baron - please would you clarify the
situation to enable us to amend our records if they are at fault.
Yours in Service
Chev. Michel d'Alembert
Aide to Minister Jean Senior Junior
Mike Pope
