TO: The King's Musketeers
FROM: Colonel Robert de l'Aubergine

Members of the King's Musketeers,

As this year comes to an end, I would like to
thank you all for making 1671 a very successful
and memorable year in the history of the King's
Musketeers.

The regimental structure has been quite turbulent
during the year with the culmination in September
when Duc don Alferwan left us after having been
in charge of the regiment since June 1667.

Other important changes are:

Apr: Rhett R'Ded left for the Royal Foot Guards.
May: Etienne du'Draconcoeur was promoted to Major.
Sep: Juan Ferawl don Alferwan left the regiment.
Oct: Robert de l'Aubergine was promoted to Colonel.
Henri duBois joined the regiment.
Nov: Etienne du'Draconcoeur was promoted to LtC.
Guy le Vair joined the regiment and was promoted to Major.
Henri duBois was promoted to Subaltern.

The King's Musketeers has been at the front for six
months during the year (Jan-Feb, May-Aug). Our performance
at the front has been very impressing and members of
the regiment have received no less than 87 mentions
in dispatches!

Thank you all for this year and I wish you all a
very pleasant December! I am already looking forward
to seeing you all at the front in January.

Yours,

Robert de l'Aubergine, Colonel King's Musketeers
