In the wake of the unfortunate heroic demise of Chevalier le
Blanc, the government is in need of a new Commissioner of Public
Safety. Applicants should be willing to dedicate the next year to the
pursuit of the enemies of France, and hold either the rank of Colonel or
the title of Chevalier, as well as appropriate social standing (SL6). Do
not worry that the last two Commissioners have died in a space of two
months. Just a coincidence.

Brig General Duc Jean Senior, Jr.
                 Minister of State

Doesn't the fact that there are *exactly* 50 states seem a little suspicious?
