Major Marseile,
first of all let me thank you for lending me the 5 (five) Crowns at the
Front. I was really in need for a hot bath after 18 hours of slaining
vicious Spaniards and wading through streams of blood. Unfortunately I
forgot to carry some change with me and the kepper of the bathhouse was not
able to give me change on my 1.000 Crowns note. Next time I will take your
advice and take some Front-Travellers Cheques with me. Again, thank you for
your kindness.
I want to inform you that after our adventures at the Front, I have decided
to ask Maj Chev. Jules de Broune to resign. Although his military
reputation is very high I doubt he is still master of his mind: he giggles
all the time. Imagine, Major, last week I talked to him about the
forthcoming attack of the Spanish Forces: All he did was laughing and
smoking some more of his cigars filled with the "healthy herbs" from India.
