Captain d'Jour, As you may be aware, my current aide Major Leplee is currently seeking a more challenging position and I have every hope that his efforts will be successful. Should this be the case I will be in urgent need of a replacement and I would be honoured if you would consider serving me in this role. Although the position will not be without danger, given that you would be serving on the staff of the Cavalry Division, you will be aware that, unlike many other commanders, I have never lost an aide in combat.
