Captain Henri Serf-Edly, Grand Duke Max Dragoons.   Thank you for your prompt reply.   You state that the individual involved was not Chevalier Quincy de Cooper, therefore it must be myself to whom you refer, being the only other Major in the ALC.   I am also deeply offended by the tone of your message and the inference that I am of the rank and file.  I, sir , am your senior officer, and it would do you good to remember not to insult your betters.   I therefore find myself with no alternative but to call on you following our return to Paris to settle this matter honourably.    Chevalier Jean Baptiste Doutron
