Chevalier Guillaume,

As you will doubtless appreciate (being no stranger to charges of Treason
being brought against you) my employer has various weighty matters to
consider at present and little time for letters which are irrelevant to his
current predicament.

Consequently, of your two recent letters I am returning
your first (to which no reply need be expected). Le Marquis may find the
second to be mildly amusing, however, so I will retain it for the present. I
am
finding that I have to choose my moments with some considerable care at
this juncture though, so a rapid response to this need not be expected
either.

Phil Terre de Krapp
Personal Private Secretary to le Marquis de Mylcandonai
